Meetings

Meetings are Held on Monday nights at Sacred Heart Church.
The scouts plan and run their own meetings. They plan their meeting after a campout. It is a SPL
meeting. They plan their preopening, opening, demo,patrol meeting,and game.
Our meetings are set up the same way. First , the scouts have a pre-opening
run by one of the patrols. It starts at 6:45 pm .Then everyone is requried to be their. We then start with opening. Opening
is Flags and a speech have to do with scouts. This is run by a different patrol. After the opening, the ASPL goes over jobs.
He asks people who hold non-leadership jobs to go over what they did over the week. The SPL then goes over leadership jobs.
After they do that we move onto Demos. A demo is a twenty minute demo on a scout skill or something related to scouts. After
demo, we move on to patrol breakdown. This is when the indivadual patrols break down to work on their menus skit or song for
the campout. Then we go up strairs for a skill compotition. We play a different game each time. After the game, the
scout go back down stairs and do closeing flags. Then wthe scouts clean up and go home.
